Lokakuu

Paljon on tapahtunut ja kiirettä on ollut, josta johtuen kirjoittelu on jäänyt vähemmälle. Tavalliset kiireet viikolla ja viikonloppuina on ollut jos jonkinlaista menoa. Heppailtu yhtenä viikonloppuna, toisena kaveri Suomesta oli käymässä ja sitten taas heppailtu. Poikien kanssa leivottu keksäjä, koiran kanssa vietetty laatuaikaa, värjätty hiuksia.

Heppailu viikonloppu #1

Elikkä ratsastamaan pääsin taas pienen tauon jälkeen ja meni hyvin, yhteistyö hevosen kanssa aivan täydellistä. Huima kehitys tapahtunut siinä välissä kun viimeksi olin selässä. TRI:lla käytiin shoppailemassa kevyt topattua loimea ja mukaan tunnetusti tarttuin otsapanta, jalustinhihnat, puhdistusaineita ja uusia harjoja. Sääkin oli mitä ihanin ratsastamiseen, aurinko paistoi ja oli sopivan lämmin.

Tyttö viikonloppu ja Galway

Kaveri Suomesta tuli käymään Dublinissa ja lauantai aamuna kello 5:45 oli kello herättämässä itselläni, jotta päästäisiin lähtemään Galwayhin, treffit oli kaverin hostellin ulkopuolella klo. 7:00. Kun saavuin keskustaan siinä seitsemän kieppeillä, näytti siltä kuin olisin ollut liikenteessä keskellä yötä. Bussi starttasi matkaan 7:45 ja matka Dublinista Galwayhin kestää 2,5 tuntia.

Galway sijaitsee siis Irlannin länsirannikolla, matkataan siis Irlannin halki. Galwayssa sää oli pilvinen, mutta ei satanut, joten loistava sää ei liian kuuma, eikä liian kylmä. Muistutti hieman Tallinnan vanhaa kaupunkia, ainakin omasta mielestäni, kadut, pieniä kujia, aukio ja pieniä kauppoja ja kahviloita. Kaiken kaikkiaan ihastuttava kaupunki. Vierailtiin kaupungin museossa, pienessä tee kuppila/kauppa yhdistelmässä ja kierreltiin kaupungissa, sekä rannikolla. 

Sieltä palauduttiin Dubliniin illalla kuuden aikaan ja tavattiin Taru. Tarun kanssa yövyttiin eri hostellissa kuin kaverini. Hostelli jossa yövyimme on nimeltään Avalon House. Parille The Duke pubiin, jossa itse irrottelin vähän enemmän kuin toiset, mutta hauskaa taisi kaikilla olla joka tapauksessa.

Seuraavana aamuna sitten oli vähän oloja, mutta siitäkin selvittiin. Aamupäivällä hostellista kun lähdettiin tapaamispaikalle osui kohdalle katutaidetta, joita jäätiin kuvaamaan ja ihastelemaan. Normaalisti todella vilkas Temple Bar oli hiljainen, vain pari ihmistä minun ja Tarun lisäksi näkyi. Käytiin porukalla katsomassa Pan, kaiken kaikkiaan hyvä elokuva, loppu jäi vähän harmittamaan, sitten vähän shoppailua. Vihdoin kun kotiin pääsi, oli niin loppu, koko viikonlopun aikana nukkunut yhteensä vajaa 10 tuntia. Sitä vain kaatui sänkyyn ja tulihan sitä nukuttua sitten 13 tuntia.

Heppailu viikonloppu #2

Lauantaina tarkoitus oli mennä ratsastamaan maastoon vähän, mutta koska halloween lähestyi kovaa vauhtia ja asut puuttuivat käytiin "nopeasti" shoppailemassa, samalla juhla-asua mammalle häihin. Shoppailussa kului parisen tuntia ja meidän tunnetut aikaisin lähdöt tiedetään, lähtö on aina tunnin pari myöhemmin kuin pitäisi. Kaikki mitä tarvittiin löytyi. Lopulta kun tallille päästiin, harjattiin vain hevonen ja käveltiin ympäriinsä, suunnitelmissa oli seuraavana päivänä tulla ajoissa ja ratsastaakkin. Sunnuntaina päästiin melkein aikataulussa paikalle, mutta ei päästy ratsastamaan, kun hevosta alettiin klippaamaan. Sain ihanan roolin pitää hevosesta kiinni, ja hevonen oli toista kertaa elämässään klipattavana. Etujalat ilmassa vähän väliä ja meno oli muutenkin vähän villiä. Pientä osumaa sormille tuli, mutta saatiin edes jonkinlainen klippaus tehtyä.

October

A lot has happened and I've been busy and because of that I haven't updated that much. Normal things during a week and on weekends I've had lots of things to do. Riding one weekend, another weekend my friend from Finland was here and then again riding. We baked cookies with boys, spend some quality time with the dog and dyed my hair.

Horsey weekend #1

So I got to get back on horse again after a little break ja it went really
well, connection with the horse was perfect. We went to TRI to buy lightweight rug and as usual we got also a new browband, straps, cleaning sprays and brushes. The weather was the most wonderful for riding, sun was shining and the temperature was perfect.

Girl weekend and Galway

My friend from Finland came over to Dublin to visit me and on Saturday morning I had an alarm at 5:45, so we get to go to Galway, we had a date at 7:00 outside my friend's hostel were she was staying. When I arrived to city centre around seven, it looked like it was middle of the night. The bus departed from Dublin at 7:45 ja it takes 2,5 hours to get to Galway.

Galway is located in west coast, so you travel across Ireland. The weather in Galway was cloudy, but it didn't rain, so it was a perfect weather not too hot, or too cold. For me it reminded a little bit of Tallinn's old town, streets, little alleys, square and small shops and cafes. All together a lovely city. We visited the city museum, small tea shop ja went around the city and coast.

We came back to Dublin around six in the evening and met with Taru. We stayed in a different hostel than my friend. Hostel we stayed is Avalon House. Had a couple of drinks at The Duke's, where I had little bit more fun than others, but I think everyone had fun anyways.

Next morning I was slightly hangover, but I survived. Around midday when we left the hostel to go to our meeting point, we saw street art and we stayed to take pictures and admired them. Normally really busy Temple Bar area was quiet, only couple of people along with me and Taru. All of us went to see Pan the movie, it was pretty good movie, but the ending bothers me a bit, and then a bit shopping. When I finally got home, I was wrecked, during the whole weekend I had slept only about 10 hours. I just fell to bed and slept 13 hours.

Horsey weekend #2

On Saturday the plan was to go riding down the track, but because the halloween was coming up fast and we didn't have costumes yet we went to "quickly" shopping, and got party outfit for host mom fot the wedding. We spent couple of hours shopping and everyone knows our now legendary early leavings, we leave always hour or two later than planned. We found everything we needed. When we finally fot to the stables, we groomed the horse and walked around, we planned to come early next morning and ride. On Sunday we almost got there in time we planned, but we didn't get to ride, because they started to clip the horse. I got the best part, to hold the horse and it was the second time ever that horse got clipped. Front legs were in the air time to time and it was little wild all together. Got a little hit to my fingers, but we got some kinds clip done.

10. Viikko

Alkuviikko meni siinä normaali menoissa, keskiviikkona kävin keskustassa päivällä tekemässä pienen, mutta minulle ison ostoksen. Tiistaina siis sain luvan lähteä torstaina keikalle, keskiviikkona hain lipun ja sitten torstaina keikkailemaan.

8 vuotta odotin, että näen Fall Out Boy:n livenä, neljä niistä meni epätoivossa, koska olivat tauolla. Ajattelin että kun se 8 vuotta tässä on mennyt, niin voin odottaa vielä muutaman vuoden lisää, mutta kun ihana perhe on, antoivat luvan mennä. Iki onnellinen olen tästä. Keikka oli mahtava, vieläkään ei ole sanoja kuvaamaan sitä tunnetta, kun pääsi paikalle. Lämppäreinä oli Charley Marley ja Professor Green. Jossain välissä keikkaa meinasi ääni lähteä kävelemään, mutta ei sitten kumminkaan. Hauskaa oli ja sieltä kotiin kipitin perille päässen 00:20.

Perjantaina vanhimmalla oli kaksi kaveria kylässä ja tehtiin porukalla pizzaa, täytyy sanoa, että keittiö oli kivassa kunnossa sen jälkeen. Ei kun siivoamaan, jauhot, maissin palat ja juustot lattioilta ja tasoilta. Hyvää pizzaa oli. Nuorin meni illalla kaverilleen kylään pariksi tunniksi.

Lauantaina keskustaan Tarun kanssa, pientä shoppailua ja valokuvausta. Haettiin take away sushia ja syötiin joen varrella. Siitä matka jatkui joen vartta pitkin satamaan päin. Siellä otettiin oikein taiteellisia kuvia ja naurettiin kuin hullut. Oli kummitusjuttuja, eikä mitään oltu otettu. Disney kaupassa käytiin niinkuin aina, annoin Tarulle lahjakortin sinne synttärilahjaksi, joten sitä käyttämään. The Dukessa käytiin ottamassa yhdet ja suunta kohti kotia sen jälkeen. Shoppaillessa Penneysta matkaan tarttui aivan ihana pikku pingviini, hänet on nyt nimetty, Joseph the Penguin, kavereiden kesken Jose.

Week 10

Beginning of the week went down normally, on Wednesday I went to the city to buy a small thing, but it was big for me. So on Tuesday I got a permission to go to a concert on Thursday, on Wednesday I got the ticket and then on Thursday concert.

I waited 8 years to see Fall Out Boy live, four of them in desperation, because of their break. I was thinking that I've waited 8 years already I can wait a few more, but my wonderful family gave me a permission to go. I'm eternally happy about this. The concert was amazing, I still don't have words to describe that feeling when I got there. Charley Marley and Professor Green were there to support them. At one point I almost lost my voice, but thank God I didn't. I had so much fun and walked home from there arriving at 00:20.

On Friday the oldest had two of his friends over ja we made pizza, I have to say that the kitchen looked kinda nice after that. Well just had to start cleaning all the flour, sweet corn pieces and cheese off the floor and counters. The pizza tasted really good. In the evening the youngest went to his friends house for couple of hours.

On Saturday to the city with Taru to shopping and take artistic pictures. Went to get take away sushi and ate it by the river. From there we continued our journey along side the river towards the harbour. We took really artistic pictures and laughed like crazy. We had ghost stories and we hadn't taken anything yet. Went to Disney store as always, I gave Taru a gift card for Disney store as her birthday present, so she got to use that. We had a drink in The Duke and went home after that. When we were shopping at Penneys I bought a lovely little penguin, and I have named him, Joseph the Penguin, between friends Jose.

9. Viikko

Ihana viikko! Maanantaina tuli paketti sisältäen synttärilahjan äidiltä ja Outilta. Tan ta da daa! Paketista paljastui Bring Me The Horizonin uusin albumi That's The Spirit, limited edition versiona, joka sisältää levyn lisäksi pipon, tarran ja sapluunan. Outilta tunnelit korviin, Pitch Perfect DVD ja kortti. Oli pakettiin laitettu pitkähihaisia, Harry Potter DVD boksi, Joulupukki ja Noitarumpu DVD ja muutama pari hanskoja. Suklaata ei kyllä ollut, harmillista. Tiistaina päivällä tuli käytyä keskutassa vähän ostoksilla, lähinnä tarkoituksena ostaa nuorimmalle lisää sukkia ja alushousuja. Tarttui sitä itsellekkin mukaan t-paita, Minions onesie, koristevalot ja Disney kaupasta Peter Pan muki.


Tässä välissä täytyy sanoa miten ihania Disney kaupan myyjät ovat. Myyjä #1, nuori n. 25-vuotias mies kysyi olenko Disney fani, vastattuani myöntävästi kysyi suosikki hahmoa. No sehän on helppo kertoa ja näyttää, vilauttaa kättä, suosikkeja ovat Belle ja Peter Pan. Hänen mielestään tatuoinnit olivat todella hienoja. Olenko käynyt aiemmin kyseisessä kaupassa, olen käynyt, sitten ei varmaan tarvitse kertoa mitä täältä löytyy ja mistä, mutta jos tarvitset apua tai mitä vaan niin olen täällä, tule kysymään. Aivan ihastuttava. Myyjä #2 astui kuvioihin kun pähkäilin mitä ostaa serkulle. Kassalla juteltiin jonkin aikaa, kysyi asunko Irlannissa, ja kerroin että muutin tänne kaksi kuukautta sitten. Kyseli mistä tulen ja kuinka olen täällä viihtynyt. Jaoimme saman kiinnostuksen kohteen Disneyn lisäksi, Once Upon A Time TV-sarjan. Lähtiessäni myyjä #2 sanat minulle, lupaa että tulet toisenkin kerran. Helppo lupaus pitää.

Torstai aamu oli paras! Kun menin alas keittiöön laittamaan aamupalaa ja tekemään lounasta pojille, niin nuorin istui sohvalla ja sieltä kajahtaa iloinen "Hi Bea" ja nuorin oli laittanut aamupalan valmiiksi ja ottanut kaiken esille mitä tarvitsen lounaan tekemiseen. Ihana tapa aloittaa päivä.

Perjantaina nuorin meni koulun jälkeen kaverinsa synttärijuhliin, joten vanhimman kanssa oli hyvää aikaa aloittaa Harry Potter.


Lauantaina vietin omaa laatuaikaa menemällä kaupunkiin vähän shoppailemaan ja tutkimaan kaupunkia lisää. Aamukahvi kanaalin rannalla auringon paistaessa, mikäs sen parempaa. Uusia nähtävyyksiä katsastettu Molly Malone ja vahamuseo. Dublinin pohjois puolelle mentäessä löysin Fresh kaupan, jossa myydään bändipaitoja ja rock henkisiä vaatteita, sieltä nappasin Bring Me The Horizonin paidan ja pari pinssiä. Parissa kauppakeskuksessa kävin metsästämässä hametta, mutta juuri sellaista kuin halusin löytämättä, flanellipaidan kyllä. Sushia syömässä Kokorossa, hyvään hintaan hyvää sushia.

Sunnuntai meni nukkuessa ja oleillessa netflixin parissa.

Week 9

Wonderful week! On Monday I received a packet which included my birthday present from my mom and Outi. Tan ta da daa! The packet revealed Bring Me The Horizon's new album That's The Spirit, limited edition, it includes besides the album, a beanie, sticker and a stencil. Outi gave me a pair of plugs, Pitch Perfect DVD and a birthday card. In packet there was also longsleeves, Harry Potter DVD box, Santa Claus and the Magic Drum DVD and few pairs of gloves. I didn't find chocolate in there and that's a bummer. On Tuesday quick visit to the city to do little shopping, mainly to buy more socks and pants for the youngest. I might have bought a t-shirt, Minions onesie, fairy lights and Peter Pan mug from Disney Store.

At this point, I have to say how wonderful the staff is in Disney Store. Assistant #1, young about 25 years old guy asked am I a Disney fan, after I said yes, he asked my favorite character. Well it's easy to tell and show, just flash your hand, favorite ones are Belle and Peter Pan. He thinks my tattoos are really good. Have I ever been there before, well yes I have, well then there is no need to tell where everything is, but if you need help or anything I'll be here just come and ask. How lovely. Assistant #2 came to the picture when I was wondering what to buy for my cousin. At the checkout we had a chat, she asked if I lived in Ireland and I told that I moved here two months ago. She wanted to know where I am from and how I liked in here. We shared same interests along Disney, we both like Once Upon A Time TV series. When I was leaving she said to me "Promise I see you again in here". That's a easy promise to keep.

Thursday morning was the best! When I went down to the kitchen to get breakfast for the boys and make lunch for school, the youngest one was sitting on the couch and I hear very happy "Hi Bea". He had put everything ready, breakfast for them and everything I need to make lunch were already on the counter. I can't think any better way to start the day.

On Friday the youngest went his friend's birthday party after school, so that gave a good time for me and the oldest to watch Harry Potter and Philosopher's Stone.

On Saturday I had my own quality time by going to the city to do little shopping and explore more. The morning coffee by the canal in sunshine, what's better than that. Checked new attractions Molly Malone and Wax museum. When I was going to the north side of Dublin I found Fresh store, they sell band shirts and rock styled clothes, there I got Bring Me The Horizon shirt and couple pins. Went to couple shopping centers trying to find a skirt I liked without finding one, but I found a flannel shirt. Lunch at Kokomo sushi bar, really good price for sushi that good.


On Sunday slept a lot and watched Netflix.
